Our group is involved in the development of new chemical probes to investigating G protein-coupled receptor signaling as part of the COST Action “GLISTEN”. CXCR4 and CCR5 receptors are under investigation to identify new anti-HIV drugs while the design and synthesis of probes for CCR6 is under study to develop novel anti-inflammatory drugs for the treatment of cystic fibrosis, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis etc.
