P4T (Probes for Targets) is an Academic Medicinal Chemistry Group recently established at the Department of Pharmacy of the Universtiy of Parma.

Our aim is to develop novel small-molecule probes for a wide range of therapeutic targets by combining molecular modeling and combinatorial chemistry approaches.

Our mission is to provide new insights in the orphan and neglected diseases fields, with the goal of fulfilling unmet medical needs and bringing affordable new medicines to the developing world.

Our research activities lies at the interface between chemistry and biology. The principal officers of P4T have an internationally renowned expertise in the following fields:

• Anti-infectives and anti-cancer drugs
• Neurological diseases
• Kinases targeting agents
• Molecular modeling
• Combinatorial chemistry
