Members Giannamaria Annunziatoo

Giannamaria Annunziato was born in Salerno in 1987. She earned a master degree in medicinal chemistry in 2012 at the university of Siena, with an experimental thesis on the synthesis of CB2 ligands. In January 2013 she obtained a scholarship funded by the “European Institute of Oncology” at the University of Parma, focusing on the synthesis of tranylcypromine derivatives as anticancer agents. Since January 2014 she is a PhD candidate in sciences of drugs, biomolecules and products for health at the university of Parma, under the supervision of Prof. Gabriele Costantino. Her research is focused on the synthesis of derivatives of brefeldin A as potential anti-cancer agents.
